Job Summary | Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience with mid-large size environmental projects and be part of an interdisciplinary team, including some highly complex remediation projects. Will substitute work experience for a master’s degree.

Essential Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:

  • Working collaboratively with project managers and senior-level staff on projects of varying sizes/complexity to solve environmental problems.
  • Implementation and management of technical and administrative aspects of environmental remediation projects including management of contractors and other outside vendors to accomplish project objectives.
  • Implement, direct, and oversee soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion investigations in NJ and PA.
  • Oversight and implementation of a variety of remedial actions.
  • Develop work scopes, cost estimates, and proposals in conjunction with senior staff and contractors.
  • Evaluation of chemical and hydrogeological data and development of graphics for inclusion into project technical reports.
  • Develop technical reports that effectively and concisely summarize investigation findings, remedial decision-making, and remedial actions.
  • Design and implementation of aquifer hydraulic tests.
  • Use modeling software and site-specific data to create geological/hydrogeological conceptual site models.
  • Design and implement bedrock investigations via exploratory borehole/coring, downhole geophysics, and packer testing.
  • Perform engineering calculations and analyses for env. Projects such as excavations, grading, stormwater, and groundwater remediation.
  • Perform data analysis to support remedial investigation and action decision-making.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience Required

  • Field investigations, environmental chemistry, environmental impact analysis, hydrology, ecology, statistics, and risk assessment; training in estuaries, and wetlands ecology.
  • Strong interdisciplinary training in several core study areas and sustainability analysis skills are preferred.
  • Strong analytical approach to problem analysis, data management, and problem-solving, using software tools (e.g., GIS) and modeling.
  • Technology and alternatives evaluation, benefits-cost analysis.
  • Knowledge of the environmental regulatory framework.
  • High level of technical writing skills.

Job Summary | Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of executive administrative and legal assistance experience supporting an executive in Environmental/Land Use Consulting or Legal office environment. This position will report directly to one of the managing partners in the Holicong/Buckingham Twp, PA office. This position will be based out of the Holicong office full-time and may need to go to the Princeton, NJ office as needed. This position will be remote one day a week.

Essential Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:

  • Provides high-level administrative support and legal assistance to the managing partner by reviewing, and proofreading, legal documents as well as research as it relates to the project.
  • Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents for senior staff.
  • Schedules and attends meetings taking notes and recording minutes.
  • Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of senior staff, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents as appropriate.
  • Performs office tasks including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and performing basic bookkeeping. Track project costs and perform billing as needed.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by the managing partner.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience Required

Candidate must have minimally 7 years of experience performing all the essential responsibilities mentioned above as well as the following skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
