Investigation and Remediation
ELM excels at providing clients with cost-effective solutions for the investigation and remediation of known or suspected discharges to the environment. We develop practical solutions with business needs in mind. Our focus is on collecting decision relevant information, not academic study of a problem.
All site investigation and remediation work is directed by an ELM Principal or Associate with extensive knowledge, experience and expertise in this field. ELM can assist you with straight forward tank closures as well as the most complex CERCLA, RCRA, State Enforcement, ISRA or other environmental investigations and remediation associated with discharges, closure or re-development of a site. Our consultant team includes a diversity of highly credentialed personnel in engineering, hazardous materials management, geology, environmental chemistry, and data management/analysis.
The professional staff of ELM has taken a lead role in our industry for the Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) program in New Jersey. ELM participated directly in helping to shape the legislation and regulations into a workable framework for the LSRP and the regulated community. ELM staff has also maintained a leadership role in the LSRP Association by serving on its Executive Board of Trustees and numerous technical committees. ELM has numerous LSRPs on staff and continues to work on assuring that this important initiative continues to be an effective tool in bringing environmentally sound closure to alleged or actual discharges of hazardous substances to the environment.
ELM's Investigation and Remediation Services are coordinated by Mr. Mark Fisher. You can contact him at MFisher@elminc.com with any questions about these services.
